Las vigas son productos de sección transversal capaz de soportar cargas, principalmente mediante la resistencia a la flexión.
Tienen longitudes de 6.0mts, 9.0mts y 12.0mts. Para otras longitudes, previa consulta.
Aplicaciones
Son utilizadas en la construcción de edificaciones o elementos de ingeniería civil.
Además, se utlilizan en la fabricación de estructuras para el sector automotriz, maquinaria, entre otras.

¿Viga W, viga H y viga americana son lo mismo?
Sí, es el mismo perfil con tres nombres. W viene de wide flange, ala ancha, que es como se designa en la norma americana; acá se le dice viga H por la forma de la sección y viga americana por el origen de la designación. Una W 6" x 6" 20 #/ft y una "viga H de 6 pulgadas de 20 libras" son la misma pieza.
¿Qué quiere decir el número con numeral, como 20.0#?
Es el peso por pie de longitud, en libras (lb/ft), que es como se identifica la viga en el sistema americano. Dos vigas de la misma altura pueden pesar distinto: la más pesada tiene el alma y las alas más gruesas. En el listado de arriba cada tarjeta indica también el peso en kg/m.
¿En qué grados la tienen?
En ASTM A36 y en A572 Grado 50. El A36 es el acero estructural de uso general; el G50 tiene mayor límite de fluencia, así que para la misma carga permite una sección más chica. Cada ficha indica el grado.
¿Qué largos manejan?
Los habituales son 6 m (20 pies), 9 m (30 pies) y 12 m (40 pies), y hay medidas sueltas en otros largos. El listado de arriba muestra el largo de cada una.
¿Qué significa OBS en algunas medidas?
Es material observado: tiene alguna observación de superficie o de medida y por eso sale a un precio menor. Sirve igual para muchos usos; consúltanos el detalle de la observación antes de decidir.
¿Cortan la viga a medida?
Sí, Yohersa corta en sus plantas de Lima. Indica el largo al cotizar. También hacemos oxicorte, plasma y rolado si la pieza necesita trabajo adicional.
